Martin Short Baltimore Concert reviews
Tori hit it out of the park
I have seen Martin Short perform four times in the past 15 years. His performance on the Night of Hunters Tour at the Orpheum in Los Angeles was even more amazing than his performance last week at The Greek. This most recent show had its own advantages, with just Martin, his piano, and a keyboard (and a microphone) on stage. The set felt more spontaneous and responsive to both Martin's muse and the audience than I'd seen in previous shows. Maybe that was because it was just him up there, and it didn't matter how the set had been rehearsed. The venue, The Greek, was simply fantastic. The sound was great, and I didn't have that terrible after-concert buzzing in my ears for days afterward.
